Machinations is reality television show that is about people battling one another in the form of robotic machines. Founded by the elf Vanity Castle many years ago, it was originally called Bot-Battle and later changed to Metal Mayhem.
It was where she had constantly competed against her longtime rival Eric Hysteria. Some time during their competitions, the two fell in love and became parents to Felix, two years later.
According to Princess Arkayna, it has run for a total of eight seasons.

- It is the second TV show to mentioned in the universe of Mysticons. The first being Questica Knightly: Mage Detective, of which Emerald, her boyfriend Kasey and Hortensia Sparklebottom are fans of.
- Piper had looked it up online, which surprised Princess Arkayna, Zarya and Emerald, at how much she knew.
