Lost and Found is the eighth episode in Season 1 of Mysticons. It is scheduled to debut in the United States on September 17, 2017 on Nickelodeon.

Malvaron tries to track down Zarya and convince her to rejoin the team as Mysticon Ranger. Meanwhile, the three other Mysticons return to the Valley of Lost Ships to claim the third fragment of the Codex. Unfortunately, it ends up falling into Dreadbane's claws, therefore tainting its mystical, light blue Wolf Bracer with evil magics.

In the Episode

  • Dreadbane obtains and corrupts the third fragment of the Codex, which is revealed to be Zarya's own book of powerful spells plus the light blue-colored Wolf Bracer.
  • It is revealed that the girls cannot transform into Mysticons without a lotus-shaped belt buckle.
  • The third, deep blue spellbook of the mighty Codex is found, as is its mystical animal bracer: the blue Wolf. Unfortunately, it falls into enemy hands.
  • Piper attempts to use her yellow Phoenix Bracer, but is eaten by the infant diamondback cave-crawler.

Outside the Episode

  • The title refers to two things: Zarya being lost and then found, and the third piece of the Codex.
  • Doug is again absent.
  • How Zarya and Piper first met is revealed.
  • In her younger days, Zarya had her purple hair in a short ponytail.
  • It is revealed that Piper's full birth name, in elvish, is Pyperia Ashyrn Elvaniski. Since it was too long to pronounce, Zarya gave her the near nickname "Piper" which initially made the orphaned young elf sad, as it was much easier to remember and closest to Pyperia.

(In Piper's dream-memory, set a few years prior)

  • Younger Zarya: "I'm Zarya. This is Choko. This is Binky. He kept me safe when I first got here. What's your name?"
  • Younger Piper: " Pyperia Ashyrn Elvaniski."
  • Younger Zarya: "Piper it is. Hey, it's OK. I'll take care of you."
  • Younger Piper: "Pinky promise?"
  • Zarya: "Piper promise."

  • Tazma: "The Dragon Disk refuses to reveal the location of the Codex piece."
  • Dreadbane: "Perhaps I need a much more powerful mage to help me use it."
  • Tazma: "You have a child's understanding of magic because if you understood the arcane arts, you wouldn't question my power!!!"
  • Dreadbane: "The Valley of Lost Ships."

  • Dreadbane: "Tibion, insert the Disk."
  • General Tibion: "The Mysticons- they must've torn the piece out of the wall."
  • Princess Arkayna (whispers): "At least Dreadbane doesn't have it yet."
  • Emerald: "Uh oh. I think I know what does."

  • Piper: "Sorry about the pixie dust, Wormy. You thought I was still in there?"
  • Zarya: "Piper!! I'm sorry I left. I don't what I'd do without you; all of you."

  • Princess Arkayna: "What do we do now? We lost both the Dragon Disk and Codex piece."
  • Zarya: "The Astromancers are gonna be so mad."
  • Malvaron: "If they ask, it's all your fault."
